Why Discipline is a Requirement for Children

     May's Bible lesson will be a discussion of why discipline is a requirement for children as found in Lesson 4, "Proverbs for Parents".  The wisdom of Solomon about disciplining children is extensive throughout the Book of Proverbs.  It is expected and it is part of the children Christian heritage.  Come join with our Bible Study group to learn how loving parents' discipline can place a child's feet on the right path.

 

Trip - Marine Corps Museum
Monday, May 19

    The Marine Corps Museum has only been open for about a year.  We will meet at the church at 9:45 AM to leave promptly at 10 AM.  The cost will depend on the number that go.  However, it is not expected to exceed $20 per person plus your lunch at a cafeteria at Quantico.  Return is expected to be no later than 4 PM.  The sign up sheet is posted.  Please sign up early as this will help us plan transportation.  Last day to sign up is May 11.
